MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness helps one develop greater insight into the connection between thoughts, emotions and body sensations.  Increasing an ability to accept and tolerate the present moment will lead to a decrease in the body’s reaction to stress.  An ongoing practice of mindful meditation has been shown to decrease symptoms of anxiety and depression, as well as improve overall health and pain management. 

BIOFEEDBACK

Biofeedback helps one become more mindful of his or her body in order to provide relief to a variety of concerns, including stress, anxiety, ADHD, chronic pain, sleep difficulties, migraines, and high blood pressure. This scientifically proven mind-body technique uses sensors to monitor physiological arousal, such as heart rate variability or muscle tension, while teaching relaxation skills that allow one to see positive effects in real time.

We are currently offering individual sessions in-person and via telehealth. All of our group offerings are virtual, with the exception of our adolescent IOP, which has rigorous policies and procedures in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
