Anna is a licensed clinical social worker and foundationally-trained DBT therapist, who provides individual therapy, skills training and treatment consultations. Anna enjoys treating a diverse clientele and specializes in mood and anxiety disorders, grief and loss, and navigating through life’s transitions. Anna’s therapeutic work is geared towards those who have experienced a disruption in daily life due to challenges, such as mood instability, behavioral dysregulation and interpersonal conflict.
Anna grew up in Atlanta and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia. She earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work at University of Georgia. Her past work experience includes work in outpatient clinical settings before coming to Peachtree DBT in 2019. She worked for several years as a therapist who treated hospice patients. Additionally, she worked with geriatric populations in senior living. Anna is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Georgia Society for Clinical Social Workers.
Anna’s approach to therapy includes “meeting people where they are” and working from a strengths-based perspective. Her approach is collaborative and mindfulness-based. Anna’s goal is to empower clients to work toward living their best lives.
In her spare time, Anna enjoys reading, yoga, music, and spending time with her husband and son.
