Beyond the Basics

Looking to expand your knowledge and use of coping skills? Join this adult (40+) skills class to build upon any prior knowledge of coping skills with a focus on advancing in your day to day skill use and application.

Course Goals:

  • Explore your core values and principles.

  • Create a life worth living.

  • Cultivate acceptance of the present while exploring avenues for positive change.

  • Developing a deeper understanding of which coping mechanisms are most effective in various situations.

Details:

  • This in-person class is 90 minutes long and takes place on Wednesdays from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM.

  • Begins August 21st and ends October 9th.

  • Each class costs $85, totaling $680.

  • Payment is due at time of registration.

Please Note:

  • All participants are required to be in ongoing therapy with a minimum of one session per month.

    • Individuals receiving therapy at PCH or within the community are eligible.

  • Age eligibility for participants is 40 years or older.

  • Participants must not engage in high-risk behaviors.

  • New clients are required to complete a pre-class orientation.
