Dr. Jane Lanier is a psychiatrist with board certification in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. She exhibits compassionate care and utilizes evidence-based practices and individualized treatment plans. Dr. Lanier has a special interest in ADHD work, including clinical and research across the lifespan. She joined Peachtree Psychiatric Professionals in 2020 and plays an integral part in collaborative care with our clinical teams at Peachtree Cognitive Center and Peachtree DBT.
Dr. Lanier is from Iowa and graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in neuroscience. She attended medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, where she received research and service distinctions. She completed a research fellowship at the Brain Imaging Lab at Columbia University. She completed general residency training and child and adolescent fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Lanier’s work experience includes working as a staff psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital. She also worked as a staff psychiatrist for Northern Light Acadia Hospital in Bangor, Maine. She has clinical experience in telemedicine, outpatient and inpatient care, neuroimaging, and mindfulness. Her academic experience includes serving as an Instructor for the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital/ Harvard Medical School. She is a member of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
In her spare time, Dr. Lanier enjoys tennis and hiking around Atlanta with her family and dogs.
