Dr. Lisa Huber is a board certified psychiatrist who specializes in treating child, adolescent and adult patients who struggle with mental illnesses, including anxiety, depression and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She enjoys working with children and parents. Dr. Huber is a founding partner of Peachtree Psychiatric Professionals beginning in 1996 and has an integral role in treating patients and managing the practice. In 2012, she became intensively trained in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and co-directs Peachtree DBT. Additionally, she developed the Peachtree Cognitive Center in 2019 and serves as co-director.  She is also medical director of Kinetik Health, a Lifestyle Medicine program. 

Dr. Huber was raised in Huntsville, Alabama and graduated from Agnes Scott College in 1986. She graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in 1991. In 1996, she completed general psychiatric residency training and child and adolescent fellowship training at Emory, where she served as chief resident. Since 1996, she has served as Adjunct Assistant Professor for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine and actively lectures and supervises medical students and child and adolescent psychiatry residents. 

Dr. Huber is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has additional board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry as well as Lifestyle Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is also a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and the American Medical Association. 

Dr. Huber has been actively involved in supporting the Atlanta community through outreach and support across the city, including in the public and private schools and churches. In 2005, she founded a free clinic and participated in treating victims during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. In the school systems, she has volunteered and lectured on various topics, such as parenting, stress management, the use of psychiatric medication in children and adolescents, understanding the teenage brain, and treatment of depression. She has also given presentations for the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, and the International Dyslexia Association. She has served on the advisory board for Skyland Trail, a residential treatment center.   

In her spare time, she enjoys biking on the BeltLine and spending time with her family and friends.
