Luke is licensed in clinical social work with advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety disorders. Luke provides individual treatment and group therapy for older adolescents, young adults and adults struggling with anxiety and mood disorders.

Luke was born and raised in Massachusetts. He graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. He completed his Master's Degree in Social Work at the University of Chicago. Following his graduate work, he worked as the lead cognitive behavioral therapist and primary counselor for several years at a residential treatment program for mental illness in the Atlanta area.

Luke is trained in the treatment of anxiety disorders through the Beck Institute.

Luke began working at Peachtree Comprehensive Health in the Peachtree Cognitive Center in February of 2020. He has a special interest in working with anxiety disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and mood disorders, including Bipolar Disorder. Luke is an active member of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the Georgia Society for Clinical Social Workers (GSCSW), and the National Association for Social Workers (NASW). He is a co-editor for the clinical page of the bi-annual journal for the GSCSW. He takes a collaborative approach in his work and enjoys weaving in experiential interventions. He regularly employs cognitive behavioral therapy approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

In his spare time, Luke likes running and exercise, in general. He is a voracious reader and enjoys learning new languages and cooking. 

Luke is currently under the supervision of Dr. Steven Littrell, CPCS.
