Director of Kinetik and PCH Coaching

Simon is a licensed professional counselor who has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for depression, anxiety, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Simon has developed and leads PCH’s executive functioning program, Kinetik, while also maintaining a specialized interest in athletes seeking skills for peak performance. Simon provides individual, group, and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. 

Simon was born and raised in Atlanta, and he graduated from the University of North Carolina with Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Economics, along with a minor in history. Simon completed his Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Georgia State University. His past work experience includes providing inpatient mental health treatment, program development at Peachtree DBT and Sports Minded Performance, and performing research for the Grady Trauma Project. He serves the community through support groups for Atlanta Community Support After Suicide. Simon joined Peachtree DBT in 2017 and Peachtree Cognitive Center in 2019. 

Simon is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the National Counselor’s Association, American Counseling Association, Association for Applied Sports Psychology, and Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. 

Simon takes a person-centered approach to therapy aimed at developing new perspectives and insights. He integrates cognitive behavioral skills, mindfulness, and DBT into his approaches to treatment. Simon enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and families in fostering holistic wellness. Outside of work, Simon enjoys weightlifting, soccer, windsurfing, and traveling.
